When businesses thrive, our community prospers.
The #AAACCC Ladies of Commerce reconvened on March 27th to kick off spring with a Women’s History Month Breakfast featuring a panel of local, impactful women business leaders. Sponsored by Bloomstone Jewelers and Hyatt Commercial at the creative hotspot, AND Creative, this event quickly sold out.
Moderator: Bailey Feldman, Fount + Flourish
Panelists: Terry Egley, Integrity Construction Group | Hilarey Leonard, Leo Annapolis | Shaneka Henson, Lawyer & MD State Senator | Roxana Rodriguez, Caliente Grill
Amongst other takeaways, a few shared tips of wisdom from our panelists are as follows:
*Don’t give up, you never know what’s around the corner.
*Engage to ensure you are heard.
*Your business is a living thing. It’s always going to be changing. Remain flexible to the constant change and have courage to keep going.
*Dream. Have vision. Never let anyone tell you what you can or cannot do. If you fall, get up!
Thank you to all who attended. Stay tuned for the next Ladies of Commerce event to connect, learn, and grow with other local business leaders.
