Why Chamber Advocacy Matters For Your Business

Staying informed and having a voice in government isn’t a luxury it’s a necessity for your business. Policies made at the local, state, and federal levels directly impact everything from taxes and regulations to workforce development and affordability. That’s why legislative advocacy is a cornerstone of the Anne Arundel County Chamber of Commerce’s mission.

The Role of the Chamber in Legislative Advocacy

Through year-round engagement with elected officials, coalition-building, and signature events like our annual Legislative Breakfast, Breakfast with the Mayor, and Coffee & Conversation Roundtables, the Chamber works to ensure the needs of the business community are heard, understood, and represented.

You are busy running your companies and serving customers. Tracking legislation, attending hearings, and building relationships with policymakers can be time-consuming and complex. The Chamber serves as a collective voice bringing together businesses of all sizes to advocate for smart, balanced policies that support economic growth. during the Legislative Session which will start January 14.
