There are two main reasons businesses join a chamber of commerce – to promote and affect positive change in the community and/or to help their business grow. The Annapolis & Anne Arundel County Chamber of Commerce supports both community and business investor members to help meet their membership goals.
The Community Investor & Community Builder:
- Businesses who view the chamber of commerce as a business organization that can promote and affect positive change in the community. An organization that can get things done.
- These businesses want to be part of a collective effort to improve their community, the regional economy, and our quality of life by investing in the positive initiatives the chamber of commerce’s undertakes, as well as volunteer to participate on committees and task forces with other business leaders to identify opportunities and challenges in the community that need addressing.
The Business Investor & Business Builder:
- Businesses who view the chamber of commerce as a business organization that can help them become more knowledgeable on the regional economy, provide tools to help them build awareness for their business, and to keep them informed on what is going on the regional marketplace and how to use that knowledge to benefit their business growth plans.
- These businesses seek to utilize the chamber of commerce as a resource for improving and growing their business, and as an organization that can help them establish their business as a trusted community partner among regional consumers.
